iLive Announces Powerhouse 2.1 Channel Audio iPod Docking Platform

A one-stop home entertainment system designed to fit today's lifestyles, this powerful full-function, remote-controlled system connects to all iPods through an iPod certified dock or USB and even charges your iPod while you listen to music or watch your favorite DVD or iPod videos.

Featuring the convenience of a drawer-loading DVD/CD player, this system combines all of today's most desired features including a digital zoom, parental lock on the DVD player, and an NTSC/PAL video standard converter making it possible to enjoy movies and videos recorded in other countries. A powerhouse audio amplifier drives acoustically calibrated stereo speakers for real sonic impact. Dual subwoofers provide dynamic bass for startling low-end realism. Four preset EQ settings come standard and allow for customized sound preferences. The Home Docking System is capable of playback from almost any music or video source including; DVD, CD, CDR, CDRW, and JPEG-CD compatibility With video output, the unit plays back videos and photos from the iPod on any TV with a composite input. A stereo auxiliary line input permits connection to any MP3 player, cell phone or game system.
Other features include a digital AM/FM stereo radio with 10/AM and 10/FM presets, a stereo headphone jack, and video output. The unit features an easy-to-read, blue-backlit, 6-digit LCD display with its own digital clock. Power is supplied through AC only and the unit will play and charge the following iPod products; iPod, iPod with Video, iPod Photo, iPod Mini, iPod Nano and iPod Shuffle.
