Eos Takes Your Music Outside and All Over the House
May 2008 – The iPod forever changed the way that we listen to our music and the iPod speaker dock forever changed the way that we listen to our iPods. Now, over 100 million iPods later Eos is changing the way that people listen to their music…all over again.
Named for the Greek goddess of dawn, Eos lets you put great music all over your house -- without the hassle of wires. Eos allows you enjoy terrific sound quality all over and all at a very affordable price. With summer coming up, Eos is the perfect companion for pool parties and outdoor barbeques.
Eos’ proprietary digital wireless technology is “rock-solid” allowing it to broadcast over 150 feet, inside and out, upstairs, downstairs, through walls, doors, ceilings and floors….all without the static and interference previously associated with other wireless products.
The Eos system consists of a base unit/transmitter and up to 4 self-contained remote speaker/receivers. For listening pleasure -- users can drop any iPod with a docking connector or iPhone onto the dock on the base unit, or plug any other audio source -- XM or Sirius satellite radio, San Disk or Zune MP3 players, computers, CD players, stereos, etc. into the auxiliary analog input on the back. Both the Eos base station/transmitter and wireless speaker/receivers feature full 2.1 Stereo with left + right channel audio as well as a ported subwoofer for rich, full sounding bass. Additionally, Eos incorporates SRS WOW! Technology that improves the dynamic audio performance of the system.
Best of all, Eos’ amplified wireless speakers are ready to go right out of the box -- you just plug them in and they automatically link with the base station/transmitter. Eos wireless speakers feature an integrated power supply, allowing the speaker to hang right on the wall outlet – no mounting bracket required. Optionally, the integrated power supply can be removed and Eos speakers can be set on a countertop or a bookshelf. Each Eos speaker features an individual volume control, so the sound level can be adjusted at the sound point to get the perfect listening level.
Eos is perfect for homes where tearing up walls to install wired systems would be costly and inconvenient, as well as apartments, condos, and businesses where it would be out of the question. Setting up the EOS couldn’t be simpler: just take it out of the box, plug it in and it plays. Eos is flexible. Want to move a speaker to another room or outside to the pool? Just unplug it from the wall, and move it. As soon as the speaker/receiver is plugged in, it will link immediately!
Eos is available as a Core System bundle, which includes the base unit and one additional speaker, for $249.99. EOS wireless stereo speakers are also available separately for $129.99. You can purchase EOS Wireless products at www.eoswireless.com, as well as other online retailers like www.bestbuy.com, www.costco.com, www.circuitcity.com, www.radioshack.com as well as many other on-line retailers.
