DC SEVEN Now Shipping

DC SEVEN New Spectrogram View October 2007 --Enhanced Audio Inc, creator of high quality PC products, has announced that DC SEVEN, the newest version of their popular Diamond Cut Audio Restoration Tools is now shipping. DC SEVEN is the newest incarnation of the world’s most popular Audio Restoration and Enhancement tools for PC computers.

“First and foremost, we concerned ourselves with increasing the power of the product from a noise reduction and enhancement perspective”, said Jeff Klinedinst, VP of Marketing. “Without solid gains to help customers remove larger amounts of noise more easily and quickly, we felt that we would be lumped in with multitude of competitors that offer lots of bells and whistles, but little substance. This new version will thrill our users because they can remove larger categories of noise more efficiently.” DC SEVEN is simply “smarter” than previous versions. It employs an all-new technology designed to allow significantly more noise reduction without distortions usually associated with pushing filters to their limits.

The ability to remove tiny impulses known as Crackle was vastly improved and the Narrow Crackle filter is a new addition to the Filter Menu. This new powerful filter tackles annoying crackle without introducing artifacts or inducing distortions. Improvements were also made which help the system be more precise when judging the difference between music and noise. It is especially evident when working with low-level recordings that have an impulsive noise floor.

Improvements were also made to existing impulse filters so a wider range of these disturbances can be eliminated.

Artifact Suppression in our Continuous Noise Filter (Probably the most widely used and powerful filter in the program) has been introduced to allow significantly more aggressive noise reduction without the usual chirps and metallic resonance that can mar the restoration efforts of other programs.

DC SEVEN Virtual Phono Preamp

From the enhancement side, the Virtual Valve Tube simulator now has 2 new devices (N-Channel Mosfet -2SK-175 transistor and the Pentode 6267-EF86 tube) and a new High Noise mode, which helps enhance the top end of the signal without reintroducing noise. We’ve also added a new EZ Enhancer, which is a one-stop enhancement smorgasbord that combines a simple EQ, Exciter and level adjuster for quick enhancement jobs. DC SEVEN will also boast a new Virtual Phono Preamp that easily applies the correct equalization curve to any recording type.

DC SEVEN DC Tune Library DC Tune Library: A new view has also been added to DC SEVEN, which is an Active Music Database that allows users to access, arrange, list and store their entire collection with ease. From this window, users can choose to edit, play or burn their selections to CD, MP3 or WMA files. The popular DC LIVE/Forensics Spectrum Analyzer has also now been added to DC SEVEN, so users have yet another form of audio analysis at their disposal.

DC SEVEN also introduces a major amount of improvements to existing filters and other enhancements to this already “loaded” program, but never loses sight of the fact that its core audience purchases the product to enhance and restore their treasured vinyl and tape recordings. All improvements to this product reflect directly to the core audience.

DC SEVEN is available exclusively from www.enhancedaudio.com and has a $199 list price with manual included and a $159 download price.
