Priced from $29.99, the new version lets you schedule multiple and concurrent backup in the native file format so they can instantly be recovered without additional proprietary recovery software. It also includes an advanced scheduler that allows users to schedule backup start times by minute, hour, day, week or month.

Version 3.0 includes a new step-by-step wizard to not only simplify setup and scheduling but also simplify the task of real-time, continuous backup of your changed files. It’s new job summary tool allows you to verify the backup configurations before automated backups begin.

NTI Shadow v3 now includes custom file filtering for specific file types (audio, picture, video, and document) as well as custom file type filtering so users can select specific file types for backup. For maximum version control, users can choose to save an unlimited number of revisions, a specific number of revisions (1-10) or no revisions to ensure that backups are always kept in sync with the original file.

For people who move their files between systems at home, school, libraries, the office or anyone else’s PC, the software is also available for U3 smart drives. With NTI Shadow and a U3 smart drive, people on-the-go can work on any XP/2000 PC and when the U3 smart drive is removed from the computer none of the personal or private information is left behind.

For added security, NTI Shadow is equipped with the company’s Intelligent USB Device Detection to back up jobs to a specific, removable storage device.
