New Microsoft High Definition Mice

Microsoft Wireless Optical Mouse 2000 All the truly tech savvy people know, the latest buzzword is "HD". As we move farther and farther into the digital age, HD, or High-Definition, becomes more and more important, as it is essentially the cream of the crop of digital technology.
Microsoft has announced three new wireless mice that incorporate High Definition technology.

The first model to be placed on the market is a refashioning of the Wireless Notebook Optical Mouse. The 3000 model works at 1,000 dpi and captures 6,000 frames per second. The receiver, which connects to a USB port, has been decreased in size to increase mobility. The receiver snaps into the mouse for storage, or to conserve battery power. Once the receiver and mouse are joined, the mouse automatically powers off. Other features include customizable buttons and the flexibility to comfortably use it with either hand. Currently available to customers, the suggested retail price on the Wireless Notebook Optical Mouse 3000 is $29.99.

This June will bring about the release of the Wireless Optical Mouse 2000. Meant for use with desktop computers, the new mouse will feature the same High Definition technology, with adaptations made specifically for desktops. Coming in a sleek sliver color, it is aimed at users who like the advantages of a laser mouse, but prefer to avoid high prices. Projected retail price is $29.99.

Later in April, customers can look forward to Microsoft’s Wireless Laser Mouse 5000. Aimed at desktop users, the mouse also features ambidextrous control and five programmable buttons. Also included in the mouse is a magnifier button, to highlight and enlarge chosen portions of the user’s computer screen. Users who are familiar with Microsoft’s mice will recognize the Tilt Wheel feature, which allows users to move both horizontally and vertically through the screen, via the mouse. The Wireless Laser Mouse 5000 will be sold for a retail price of $49.99.
