NEC Introduces New-Tech Widescreen Monitor

NEC MultiSync 1940WCXM With all the talk about new the operating systems soon to arrive from Microsoft and Apple, many people are now looking to upgrade their computers. One part of your computer that you don’t want to scrimp on is the monitor. A bad monitor can really give you a headache and many of us are still using some pretty old displays. You would be surprised how they can degrade- especially with constant use. Deterioration is usually so gradual that you often don’t notice it until your eyes begin to hurt at the end of the day. You might want to start your computer upgrade process now, with a new widescreen display. I just saw a demo of a new widescreen monitor from NEC that I really liked, and I liked it even more when I heard the price. But we’ll save that for later in the story.

NEC has always been one of the leaders in the development in flat panel LCD computer displays. The new model I saw was NEC’s new MultiSync 1940WCXM 19” widescreen monitor. It is an extension of the popular MultiSync CX Series. With a fast 5-millisecond response time, a native resolution of 1440 x 900, and integrated down-firing speakers; this thin-frame, wide-screen display is ideal for consumers and home office users.

Widescreen monitors have been one of the fastest growing display trends, everybody loves them. NEC’s advanced imaging technology delivers the performance to capitalize on this trend.

Controls for this monitor are easy-to-read and use. The On-Screen Manager provides clear menus that put you in easy control of all your screen setting adjustments.

Now this is the best part: the MSRP is only 269.99 (and you can probably find it for less on the net)—that is a great price for a quality, brand-name, widescreen 19” monitor. This beauty is one you might want to check out to make your time in front of your computer more enjoyable (and more comfortable).
