CyberPad Digital Notepads
Adesso Inc., a leading manufacturer of innovative computer input peripherals, recently showed us its new line of digital notepads. These “CyberPads” are very handy for busy executives, artists, mobile professionals, and students.
Even with the incredible variety of laptops available today, I often don’t want to lug one around. So paper-based notepads and notebooks are still what I normally use for my note taking. Now we can have the best of both worlds. There is no learning curve with the CyberPad; whatever you write or draw on the CyberPad can go right into your computer for further work, reference, or for just plain backup and safekeeping. Adesso’s CyberPad combines the familiarity and comfort of a regular yellow tablet with the added benefits of PC connectivity.
You simply connect the CyberPad to your PC via a regular USB cable to transfer and manage your notes and images. It comes with a charger and rechargeable batteries, which are good for up to 120 hours of use before recharging. This is priced right at only $199.99 MSRP---- a careful check of the net might reward you with an even lower price.
Adesso, founded in 1994, is not a newcomer to the field. The company manufactures and markets many innovative computer goodies including integrated keyboards, mice, trackballs, and touchpads, many of which are available in both wired and wireless versions.
