Corsair Introduces a Monster!

Corsair Flash Survivor USB Jack Peterson, VP of Marketing at Corsair, a worldwide leader in high performance computer and flash memory products, called today to let us know that the company has expanded its Flash Voyager and Flash Survivor USB family lines with huge, new 32 gigabyte capacity models. Corsair earned a reputation as being a first-to-market performance leader with cutting-edge products for the PC enthusiasts. Corsair supplies DRAM Memory, Flash Memory, Power Supplies and Water-cooling solutions for high-performance gaming systems, mission critical servers, and portable notebooks.

At 32 GB, these new drives have monster capacity. Only last year you were lucky to get 1 or 2 GB flash drives (or thumb drives, as some folks call them). These new drives may be the ultimate solution for storing, transporting and backing-up critical data. There are portable hard disc drives on the market that go to-- and beyond-- 32 GB, but they are much more delicate than these virtually indestructible flash drives. These Corsair USB drives provide ruggedness and performance simply not available in hard disc drives.

These large drives are perhaps the perfect solution for storing, transporting and backing up large amounts of personal and professional data. Whether using the Corsair proprietary all-rubber Flash Voyager or the aluminum-encased water-proof Flash Survivor, the data on the drive will be safe while you are on the go.

These large density drives can also be used as portable back-up devices for critical or sensitive information that you can take with you anywhere and not be worried that they will fail. In addition, Corsair 32 GB USB 2.0 drives are bootable, which means you can actually store full versions of operating systems and applications in order to quickly "re-create" the necessary software environments to troubleshoot system problems.

"Whether with innovative designs, like the Flash Voyager and Flash Survivor, or industry leading large-density drives in other convenient portable form-factors, Corsair is always pushing the limit of what USB portable storage has to offer," Jack said. "Our newest USB additions will allow a whole new set of users – multimedia, technical and data conscious – to take advantage of rugged, high-performance solid-state storage," he added.

Corsair 32GB USB drives are available through Corsair’s authorized distributors and resellers world-wide. Each drive is bundled with a lanyard, security software/driver preloaded, and USB extension cable. Corsair flash products are backed by a 10-year Limited Warranty and the 32 GB Voyager lists for a very reasonable MSRP of $229. For more information on these new beauties, check out www.corsair.com.
