Sonos Announces New Product, Partnerships


 Sonos ZoneBridge Sonos just announced new partnerships, features, as well as a new product for the Sonos Digital Music System. Music lovers can now play what they want, when they want, anywhere they want in the home. Think of a song, find it and play it, in any room…and all from the palm of your hand. Starting yesterday with Sonos, you can now search and find the music want from Rhapsody, Napster, Best Buy Digital Music Store or your personal music collection all from your couch– no computer required.

Here are the announcements:

  • Sonos has launched an international partnership with Napster. Music lovers can access Napster’s 5 million plus song library all from the palm of their hand via the wireless Sonos Controller – no computer required. The service is available to music fans in the US, Canada, Germany and the UK.
  • Sonos has launched a partnership with the Best Buy Digital Music Store. Starting now, Sonos will be demonstrated live on the Best Buy floor
  • Sonos has launched Sonos System Software 2.5 which includes music search and a number of new features. Music search allows you to search the millions of songs from Rhapsody, Napster and the BB Digital Music Store all from the palm of your hand and play it throughout the home.
  • Sonos has also announced a new product – the Sonos ZoneBridge. The ZoneBridge provides an easy way to set up and extend an all-wireless Sonos Digital Music System. The product is available for $99 and is now shipping.
