New iRiver Digital Media Players Include SRS WOW HD Audio

iRiver Clix 2nd Generation SRS Labs just announced that iRiver is using SRS WOW HD audio technology in two new portable media device products, the Clix 2nd generation and S7.

With the use of SRS WOW HD, both models of MP3 players improve the playback quality of digitally compressed audio. More specifically, WOW HD creates a wide and full sound stage with deep rich bass and adds a definition control for clarity and greatly enhanced sound quality.

iRiver Clix 2nd Generation The Clix 2nd generation is about half as thin as its predecessor, the Clix and features the new 2.2 inch AMOLED (Active Matrix Organic Light Emitting Diodes) for a brighter display and unlimited viewing angles.

iRiver S7 The S7, on the other hand, is display-less. Instead, the faceplate displays images of animals and humans which represent volume control and fast-forward and reverse. Also unique to the S7 is the lanyard which the ultra-small player dangles from when placed around the neck.

Both models from iRiver are currently shipping in Korea. www.iriver.com
