Epson MovieMate 72
With the Epson MovieMate 72, you can view DVDs up to 8 times larger than on a 40” TV. In fact, the MovieMate 72 was used to project “Oscar’s Greatest Moments” behind the scenes on last Sunday’s broadcast of the Academy Awards!
Engineered for “high def” home cinema enthusiasts, the Epson MovieMate 72 is the industry’s first high-definition combo projector with true HD (720p) resolution and HDMI connectivity. Also, the Epson MovieMate 72 upconverts standard resolution DVDs (480p) to 720p resolution and features three-chip (3LCD) projection technology for excellent image quality.
The MovieMate 72 can also be used to play photo slideshows and soundtracks from a USB flash drive or DVD/CD and has a VGA input so you can show images from a PC or Mac. It even works with your iPod, Wii, PS3 or Xbox 360 video game system for more entertainment options. A swivel base provides versatile DVD loading, and the lens shift provides more flexible placement so you don’t have to be exactly in front of the projection surface. The MovieMate 72 includes four 5W speakers with built-in Dolby Digital 5.1 and DTS for powerful audio sound and is available for $1199. www.epson.com
