Apple Unveils iPhone

Apple iPhone Just announced at MacWorld, the Apple iPhone combines three products — a mobile phone, a widescreen iPod with touch controls, and an Internet communications device with email, web browsing, maps, and searching. Enjoy music, audiobooks, videos, TV shows, and movies on a 3.5-inch widescreen display. iPhone also lets you sync your content from the iTunes library on your PC or Mac.

To make a call, just point your finger at a name or number in your address book, call log or favorites. The iPone also automatically syncs all your contacts from a PC, Mac, or Internet service. And it lets you select and listen to voicemail messages in whatever order you want.

iPhone features a rich HTML email client and Safari— which automatically syncs bookmarks from your PC or Mac. Safari also includes built-in Google and Yahoo! search. iPhone is fully multi-tasking, so you can read a web page while downloading your email in the background over Wi-Fi or EDGE and with its full QWERTY keyboard you can easily send and receive SMS messages in multiple sessions. The keyboard is predictive, so it prevents and corrects mistakes, making it easier to use than the plastic keyboards on many smartphones.

The phones will operate exclusively on AT&T's Cingular wireless network, and will start shipping in June. A 4-gigabyte model will cost $499, and an 8-gigabyte iPhone will be $599.
