Two German Engineers Want to Sell their Electric Bike Globally!

 Elmoto

The Elmoto is a cross between a mountain bike and a motorcycle. It is powered by a 2KW engine that should last you up to 65km on a single battery charge. The aluminum frame only weighs 45kg, which should allow you to travel at a top speed of almost 45km/h.

Technically, the Elmoto is a "green" vehicle, because it doesn't emit any carbon dioxide. The developers are hoping to sell around 100 bikes before the end of this year. Then, they hope to increase their marketing and go global, to make 2010 a big year for sales.

The Elmoto costs $5,700 and is currently only available in Europe. So, would you buy something like this to help save on gas, or too be more "Green"?

G-Power Tunes the BMW M3 to Surpass 200mph

 BMW M3

Using new T1-518 ASA centrifugal supercharger, G-Power uses a "soft" charging of 4.4psi for a continual boost for the BMW. By doing this, G-Power claims that it can constantly provide around 20% more torque to the M3.

The new supercharger will push the BMW M3 to 500hp, a top speed of 200+ mph and achieve a speed of 124mph in 13.5 seconds.

Other features G-Power has included include:

  • Custom wheels
  • Michelin sport tire
  • New continuously height-adjustable, G-Power coil-over suspension system with nine settings
  • New sports rear muffler
  • Carbon-fiber panels
  • Aluminum pedals and tailor made leather seats.

Currently, G-Power has not released any information regarding a price for the supercharger or the entire package. You can get more pics of the setup here.

Stream Music, Connect Multiple Phones on New Bluetooth Car Speakerphone

 BlueAnt S1

The new BlueAnt S1 car speakerphone gives you a safe (and easy) way to use your mobile phone while driving. Want to answer a call? Simply say the word "Answer"… there is no need to take your hands off the wheel or your eyes off the road. If your phone has a voice dial feature, you can make calls using your voice too.

What makes the S1 stand out from their previous models is this - thanks to multipoint technology, two people can have their phones connected to the S1 at the same time. Both users can make calls through the S1, and if either phone rings the call automatically transfers to the speakerphone. Read more

Ford Unleashing 800hp Fiesta on Pike's Peak this July!

 800hp Ford Fiesta

At 800hp, this 2L Ford Fiesta is a bit of a promo stunt by Ford as it gears up to bring the Fiesta back to the states. The Fiesta will be Ford Motor Company's main competition vehicle for rallying in the coming years, though. The highly modified Fiesta will feature an all-wheel-drive system and custom suspension with other modifications that have not been revealed.

There will be two Fiestas competing July 19th at Pike's Peak. They will be driven by Andreas Eriksson and rally legend Marcus Grönholm in the 'Unlimited Class' at Pike's Peak, in an attempt to be the first team to break the 10-minute mark over the 12.4-mile, 156-turn pavement and gravel course.

I can't wait to see this take place! You can grab the full press release here.

Ken Imhoff Takes his Basement-Built Lamborghini Countach to the Streets!

For those of you who don't know, Ken Imhoff has built his very own Lamborghini Countach from the ground up. It has taken him around 17 years and a lot of money to create this masterpiece. The only main difference between this and a real one is the engine. The real Countach houses a 5.0L V12 engine, while Ken's is equipped with a Ford 351 V8. As you'll see in the video, it still sounds great.

This is the first time I think this has actually been driven, so there is still a lot of work to be done when it comes to tuning it. Be sure to check out Ken's website for more information and pictures. And for more awesome automotive videos, click here.
