MOTOROLA
BLUETOOTH CAR KIT IS THE LATEST, MUST-HAVE IN-VEHICLE ACCESSORY
Motorola's IHF1000 is revolutionizing the way people use their cell phone
in their vehicle. Thanks to the interoperability offered through Bluetooth
wireless technology, Motorola's IHF1000 is not dependant on a particular
phone, cradle or wireless operator.
The professionally installed car kit features voice-operated controls and delivers high-quality audio for both parties in conference, making hands-free communication easier than ever before. The stylish, backlit controller with chrome-brushed finish mounts within easy reach on the dashboard. The simple voice menu prompts makes it easy to:
-- pair up to four compatible Bluetooth enabled phones
-- answer incoming calls
-- mute function pauses radio for incoming calls
-- dial by name using the phones voice tags
-- dial by name using up to 20 locally stored contacts
During SEMA, Motorola and Peripheral Electronics, a division of AAMP of America, also will launch an innovative line of wiring harnesses. The new product line called CELFI will be available to professional installers. CELFI will help reduce installation time of Motorola's IHF1000 by simply plugging into the kit's wiring harness and then into the back of the vehicle's radio, enabling the mute feature and routing of phone calls through the speakers of many popular car models.
CELEBRITY SOFTBALL CHALLENGE
Motorola's new products will be put to the test by a host of celebrities,
participating in the first-ever Motorola and Unique Autosports Celebrity
Softball Challenge at 4:00 p.m. PST on Nov. 2 at the UNLV Softball Facility.
The IHF1000 car kit and Bluetooth enabled phones in Cano's car will keep celebrities like Will Castro, Busta Rhymes, Tony Stewart, Gary Sheffield, Jason Giambi and Vida Guerra connected hands-free and wire-free, as they cruise down the Las Vegas Strip and arrive in-style for game day.
"The Unique Autosports approach to car customizing is all about lifestyle," said Castro. "We take a good looking car and make it look better by adding the latest in sound, style and communication. And, our relationship with Motorola allows us to equip our customers with the best in mobile technology. Motorola understands what we need to make a job unique."
During the 1st Annual Motorola and Unique Autosports Celebrity Softball Challenge, Castro and Busta Rhymes will lead the East Coast Team as they compete against Ryan and the West Coast Customs Team. A portion of the proceeds from the star-studded event will be donated to The Teddy Fund & Attention-Deficit Hyper Activity Disorder (ADHD).
Castro added, "When the idea came to me about the softball challenge, I turned to Motorola. Like our work, we wanted to do something that was new and unique. SEMA is usually about cars and accessories and we wanted to make it a little more by bringing together our fans, clients, sponsors and friends for a good cause."
