Excalibur Electronics Introduces Luxury Remote Controlled Cars
August 2004 -- They are fast, fun and affordable. Excalibur Electronics has produced a line of high-powered remote controlled toy cars. Whether it's a Mini Cooper, BMW or a Mercedes, these cars look like the real thing. Excalibur has produced each car in four different sizes:
---1:52 Size Ratio. This is the smallest size. It's so small that it can fit in the palm of your hand. But even at this petite size it still has working headlights. The remote and the car together take six-AAA batteries. The car comes in blue or red ($19.99)
---1:20 Size Ratio is a little larger, faster and has additional features. It comes in blue and red ($19.99).
---1:12 Size Ratio is the next size up. This size has a horn and real working headlights, taillights and built-in thief alarm. It takes four AA batteries and a six-volt battery. The charger is included and you can get the car in blue or red ($69.99).
---1:8 Size Ratio. This is the big one. It's so big you almost need license plates. It comes with real rubber tires, a fully functional radio in the trunk, plus working headlights, taillights and turn signals. It takes two-AAA and two nine volt batteries and it includes a charger. It is only available in blue ($99.99).
