Call of Duty fans, you're going to like this (that is, if you have a 3DTV or 3D PC). It was just announced that Call of Duty: Black Ops will be playable in stereoscopic 3D when the game is released on November 9th.

The game will be compatible with 3D-ready HDTVs and 3D PCs using active shutter 3D glasses. Call of Duty: Black Ops will be playable in both 3D and non-3D on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Windows PC.

"Development of stereoscopic 3D began as an R&D project, but once we saw what the technology brought to the Call of Duty experience, what a great fit and how immersive it was, we knew that we had to develop it for Black Ops. Well, we told you about it last month and the day has arrived. The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Resurgence Pack is now available on the Xbox LIVE online entertainment network. Today's launch of the second map pack from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 adds five additional multiplayer levels, including three new locations along with two updated classic locations from Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare.

The new map pack is published by Activision, and available for download on Xbox LIVE Marketplace for the Xbox 360 video game system for 1,200 Microsoft Points. To celebrate its release, Infinity Ward will host a Double XP weekend for Xbox LIVE gamers beginning June 4.

Activision just announced that the second pack of new multiplayer maps from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, will hit Xbox LIVE on June 3rd. Dubbed the "Resurgence Pack," it will consist of five maps. No additional information was given about the maps, or a release date for PlayStation 3 or PC users. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see…

It was also announced that Infinity Ward will host two Double XP weekends. The first Double XP will take place beginning Friday, May 28, and the second on Friday, June 4.

• Overgrown - which features open fields with high grass and a massive dry creek bed that splits this neglected village in half.
