Caesars Palace Launches GPS iPhone App, Mobile Check-In

Other than the magnificent lobby, beautiful rooms, five-acre Garden of the Gods pools and gardens (the list goes on and on…), this Las Vegas resort stays on top of the latest technology. In fact, Caesars Palace just announced a new iPhone app which allows you to obtain restaurant hours, get hotel information, choose a spa or salon treatment, see who is performing in the Colosseum at Caesars Palace and more! The app even creates a personalized Caesars Palace electronic postcard customized to display your photo on the resort's marquee sign.

Caesars Palace is among the first not only to update the application content and exclusive offers 24 hours per day, but also first in the hospitality industry to feature user opt-in GPS capabilities, which can customize offers to venues conveniently located near you.

Also new to Caesars Palace is "Texpress," a mobile phone service designed to fast-track your hotel check-in. One day before you arrive, text the resort to check in. When you arrive at Caesars Palace, (if checked in via Texpress) you can by-pass the front desk check-in line and go directly to the Bell Desk, where your room keys are ready and waiting.

More information on the Caesars Palace iPhone App: This free app features room descriptions, points of interest, Caesars history and more. Maps show popular destinations throughout the resort. The app has information on Qua Baths & Spa, COLOR Salon, shopping, golf, nightlife and the Neil Leifer Gallery of legendary sports photographs. Dining information includes descriptions, hours, direct-dial phone numbers and menus. Guests also can provide feedback and receive general contact information for the resort.

If you have enabled the iPhone's GPS capabilities, you will receive location-specific marketing offers during your stay. If you leave Caesars for another Harrah's Entertainment* Las Vegas resort, special offers for those respective hotels will be offered in the app.

The Caesars Palace Las Vegas app is available now for free download in the iTunes App Store.

Texpress: "Texpress" is available to those who book hotel reservations via CaesarsPalace.com. The day before arrival, a customized text is sent including the confirmation number and directs you to reply "check in" to begin the check-in process. Upon arrival at the resort, Texpress users by-pass the front desk and proceed to the Bell Desk, where photo identification is shown to pick up the room keys. Texpress is available to all U.S. cell phone users with text capabilities, including Blackberry and iPhone. Texpress users also may opt to receive text message offers during their stay, including special pricing for spa treatments, cocktails, shows and much more. Like the iPhone app, Texpress offers will be timed to coincide with the hotel stay and cease after checkout.
