Boost Mobile Monthly Unlimited with Shrinkage

A mobile phone company actually reducing your bill? Practically unheard of…until now. Boost Mobile has a new no-contract plan called "Monthly Unlimited with Shrinkage." The company is giving customers the opportunity to reduce their $50 monthly unlimited plan to a monthly price of $35. How? By simply making on-time payments. For every six on-time payments, a customer's monthly cost will shrink by $5, eventually getting down to $35 a month for unlimited nationwide talk, text, Web, e-mail, IM and calls to 411. Not too bad!

Boost Mobile even offers Android and BlackBerry smartphones now, including the Motorola i1 powered by Android and BlackBerry Curve 8530. The Curve 8530 sells for $249.99 (excluding taxes) through Boost Mobile and will be available at retail stores at the end of October. It is also available at www.boostmobile.com with free shipping.

"Shrinkage" is available with Boost Mobile Monthly Unlimited and BlackBerry Monthly Unlimited plans. Motorola Stature i9 Turns Red at Boost Mobile

 Motorola Stature i9

Boost Mobile announced today that they are offering the Motorola Stature i9 in a new color - red. The i9, which is the thinnest flip phone available on the iDEN network, was first introduced in February 2009, but was only available in black. The company says that they have added this new color to keep up with demand for the phone.

While, yes, this is a slick looking phone featuring Nationwide Boost Walkie-Talkie, a 3.1 Megapixel Camera with 8x Zoom and Flash, Video Camera, and a Music Player, it comes in at the hefty price of $299.99. I suppose the price of the phone can be justified considering the Boost Mobile service has no contract, credit check, or "hidden" fees.

Boost Mobile also offers a Monthly Unlimited plan with unlimited anytime calling, text messaging, wireless Web and walkie-talkie services with a national calling area for $50 a month.

For more information on the i9 and other calling plans, visit www.boostmobile.com.
