Sony Tablet S Arrives at Best Buy

Best Buy announced late last week the availability of the new Sony S Tablet - Sony's first tablet entry - at select stores and online at BestBuy.com.

The Sony Tablet S runs on the Android Honeycomb operating system and features a 9.4-inch (measured diagonally) touch-screen display with TruBlack technology. The device is the first PlayStation Certified tablet to provide out-of-the-box gaming for PlayStation games. It also offers access to thousands of apps through the Android Market, comes pre-loaded with multiple entertainment options through the Sony Entertainment Pack, and features a built-in Universal remote to control multiple gadgets - for both Sony and non-Sony branded products. The Sony Tablet S is available with 16GB for $499.99 or 32GB for $599.99.

Best Buy also announced that it has completed the national roll-out of its new in-store Tablet & e-Reader Central Zone, where you can touch, test and try out all the different tablets and e-readers before making a purchase, allowing you to find the one that's right for you.
