DVDO Announces the DVDO Mobile HD Travel Kit at CEDIA 2011
This week at CEDIA, DVDO announced a new all-in-one, portable MHL-to-HDMI adapter and multi-charger. Dubbed the DVDO Mobile high-definition (HD) travel kit, it supports the MHL standard, allowing you to charge your MHL-enabled smartphone or tablet while at the same time view content from the device on an HD projector, monitor or HDTV with an HDMI connection.
More content is being stored on smartphones and tablets than ever before, which is why DVDO saw a need for a portable HD connectivity solution offering multiple charging options - and the Mobile HD Travel Kit delivers. Media, photos, videos, and music as well as applications and other services stored on your smartphone or tablet will now be viewable on large screen HDTVs or business venues with HDMI-enabled projectors.
Just look at all it offers: DVDO Mobile has an integrated 20-inch USB-A connector, an 8-inch micro-USB connector with a 46-inch total span that recoils with wrap-and-hide cable management and a 36-inch HDMI connector to link the solution to an HDTV or an HD projector or monitor. Multiple charging options are also available with an integrated USB-to-PC connector and a USB-to-AC charger.
Pricing and availability has not yet been announced. More information on DVDO can be found at www.dvdo.com.
