Boston Acoustics TVee Model 30 Hits Stores this March

TVee Model 30 Soundbar and Wireless Subwoofer System

This week at CES, Boston Acoustics announced that its TVee Model 30 Soundbar and Wireless Subwoofer System is expected to be available in March 2011. The TVee Model 30 is a 3.1-channel virtual surround sound speaker system designed to turn your TV into a total home entertainment system - using just a slim soundbar and wireless subwoofer.

Sized for flat-panel TVs 40" or larger, the TVee Model 30 features one-wire analog or optical digital hookup, Dolby Digital decoding (via the system's digital input), a dedicated center channel, and offers Bluetooth support for streaming music from your iPad, iPod touch or any other Bluetooth device.

The TVee Model 30 has two modes - "stereo mode" for listening to music, and "virtual surround" for TV, movies and gaming. A remote is not included with the TVee Model 30 because a special "Learning Function" learns your existing remote to control the system, eliminating the need for an additional remote!

Inside the TVee Model 30's soundbar you'll find three 3.5-inch Fiber Ceramic Copolymer Material (FCCM) mid-bass drivers and three 3/4-inch Dome Tweeters, plus a 7-inch FCCM subwoofer in a tuned bandpass enclosure.

The TVee Model 30's soundbar can be mounted on a wall above or below a TV, or rest on any surface; and its wireless subwoofer can be placed either vertically or horizontally, allowing you to put it almost anywhere. In addition, Boston’s DSP control switch maximizes the performance of the soundbar based on placement (on-wall or tabletop).

Boston Acoustics TVee Model 30 will be available in March for $599.99.
