ViewSonic Unveils Two Tablets: the ViewPad 7 and Dual-Boot ViewPad 10

ViewSonic is jumping into the tablet game full force. Today the company unveiled not one, but TWO tablets - the ViewPad 7 and ViewPad 10.

The ViewPad 7 is a 7-inch tablet running on Android 2.2. 3.5G data capable, this tablet features a 800x480 WVGA multi-touch LCD screen and is one of the only 7-inch tablets with Android Google Mobile Services (GMS). GMS allows you to connect to apps and games along with Gmail, YouTube and more.

It has 802.11 b/g and Bluetooth connectivity and supports instant messaging, VoIP, web browsing and USB connectivity. The ViewPad 7 features 2 built-in cameras: a 3-megapixel, auto focus camera in the rear and a 0.3 megapixel camera in the front. It touts 512MB of memory, and up to an additional 32GB can be added via the micro SD card slot. You can expect up to 10 hours of battery life. The ViewPad 7 will be available in late Q4 2010 for $479.


 ViewSonic ViewPad 10

The ViewPad 10 is a 10.1-inch dual-boot Wi-Fi device which runs on both Windows 7 Home Premium and Google Android 1.6. It includes Intel's Atom 1.66GHz processor, 1GB of memory, 16GB SSD hard drive and an expandable micro SD slot. The ViewPad 10 can view Flash-based content and Office programs with Windows, as well has have access to Android apps.

The ViewPad 10 also features a 1024x600 multi-touch LED backlit panel and includes a G-sensor, 1.3-megapixel webcam and built-in microphone. The ViewPad 10 with dual-boot OS will be available in Q1 2011 for $629.
