Sonos Controller for iPad Now Available
We were excited about the Sonos Controller for iPad app when we heard about it in June, but disappointed that we had to wait until late August to get this free app. Then, Sonos announced that it was going to be delayed until the end of September. We understood though. It's as simple as this; when Sonos releases a product, whether it is a music system or an application, they want it working perfectly the moment it is released. Well…now that time is here!
The Sonos Controller for iPad app turns your iPad into a wireless remote control, allowing you to control music from your Sonos Wireless Music System. From your iPad, you can view your rooms, your music and what songs are playing. It allows you to wirelessly play the same song in every room of the house or play different songs in different rooms. Search for artists by typing on the virtual keyboard and browse through albums by pointing and flicking. And that's just naming a few of the features...
Available now, you can get the free Sonos Controller for iPad app in the iTunes App Store.
Have an iPad but not a Sonos system? We highly recommend you spend a few moments at the Sonos website and learn about Sonos Wireless Music Systems. While you're there, see what the press has to say about the system being one of the easiest ways to enjoy music all over the home. Sonos systems start at $399 a room.
Sonos also just released Sonos System Software 3.3, a free one-button software update to the Sonos Multi-Room Music System.
