Most iPod docks are pretty similar in design. Not the latest from Speakal. The new iCrystal dock is unique with its two separated spherical pods – and inside the pods is an illuminated teardrop with an ambient blue light around the rim of the speaker.

iCrystal has stereo speakers, an iPod/iPhone dock, a remote control and onboard touch controls for adjusting volume and changing tracks. It can be powered by 4 AA batteries (great when you're away from an AC outlet!) and features a 3.5mm input for use with to gaming consoles, TVs, and other music sources.

iCrystal was recognized in January as a 2010 Best of Show Award Finalist by iLounge at the Consumer Electronics Show. It is available now in white, black, and red and retails for $79.99.
