HP Unveils Ultra-Thin 2310e WLED Backlit Monitor

 HP 2310e WLED Backlit Monitor

When it comes to laptops, smartphones, HDTVs and computer monitors, there's no doubt about it, thin is in. HP doesn't disappoint with its new 2310e WLED Backlit Monitor. Measuring in at less than an inch thin, this 23-inch display delivers Full HD 1920 X 1080 resolution, 16:9 aspect ratio and touts a dynamic contrast ratio of 8,000,000:1.

Its thinness is thanks to the use of White LEDs which are smaller than CCFL (Cold Cathode Fluorescent Lamps), resulting in a reduction of the number and overall size of components. You can feel good about being "green" too. WLED backlighting is mercury-free, which helps lower power consumption. But HP didn't stop there. The display glass is arsenic-free, plastics and finishes are BFR/PVC-free and all packaging is recyclable. It's also ENERGY STAR 5.0 qualified and EPEAT Gold qualified.
