Verizon Launches Salute, an Entry-Level Slider
New to Verizon Wireless is Salute, the carrier's first phone from ZTE USA. Available now, this slim slider phone offers up to 240 minutes of talk time and up to 220 hours of standby time on a single charge.
Features include a 2.4-inch screen, 1.3-megapixel camera, speakerphone and Bluetooth headset support. The Verizon Wireless Social Beat app comes preloaded for easy access to Facebook, Twitter and MySpace accounts, along with Backup Assistant, an app that saves and updates a copy of the phone's address book to a secure website. The Salute has VZ Navigator capabilities as well as a bilingual interface (English/Español).
The Salute is available now at www.verizonwireless.com and in Verizon stores for just $19.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate with a new two-year customer agreement.
