Logitech Unveils New Illuminated Keyboard

Logitech has a new wireless keyboard that is not only rechargeable, but is also illuminated. It features ambient light and motion sensors, giving you backlight when you need it, conserving battery life when you don't.

It works like this: the Wireless Illuminated K800 backlighting automatically adjusts based on the amount of light in the room using ambient light sensors. Motion sensors detect your hands as they approach to turn the backlighting on and to turn it back off when your hands move away. Because of this, you get a longer battery life. You can expect a battery life of up to 10 days without recharging (depending on conditions, of course). Speaking of recharging, it is done easily with the included micro-USB cable, which lets you recharge the keyboard while you type. Simply plug it in to recharge the onboard batteries.
