Klipsch Unveils Reference II Series Speakers
Klipsch has been manufacturing high-performance home audio speakers for over 60 years. Throughout those years, Klipsch has included the latest technological audio advancements in each and every speaker it created. Such is the case with the new Reference II Series. The new line, now in its fifth generation, includes 17 all-new speakers.
The Reference II Series is available in floorstanding towers, bookshelf, center channel and surround models. The drivers in all of the speakers have been re-engineered and employ a new crossover system, giving them even better sound quality. Cerametallic woofer cones are used for tight musical bass response; and new Tractrix horn tweeters incorporate Linear Travel Suspension and titanium compression drivers to reduce distortion and give the speakers a natural sound. The surround speakers also include Klipsch's Wide Dispersion Surround Technology (WDST) for maximum surround coverage.
The Reference II Series includes:
- Five floorstanding towers: RF-7 II, RF-82 II, RF-62 II and RF-52 II and RF-42 II
- Four bookshelf models: RB-81 II, RB-61 II, RB-51 II and RB-41 II
- Four center channels: RC-64 II, RC-62 II,RC-52 II and RC-42 II
- Four surround speakers: RS-62 II, RS-52 II, RS-42 II and RS-41 II
Mark Casavant, vice president of product development said, "Whether you're listening to music or watching movies, the new Reference II Speakers sound so realistic it's like you're being transported to the artist's recording studio or the film's scene."
