Canon Intros Five New PIXMA Printers with Full HD Movie Print

Canon today announced five new PIXMA printers – the PIXMA MG5220, PIXMA MP495 Wireless Photo All-in-One, PIXMA MG5120, PIXMA MP280 Photo All-in-One and the PIXMA iP4820 Inkjet printer. Included on all five is a new Full HD Movie Print function which lets you print individual frames of movies from compatible HD Canon EOS and PowerShot Digital cameras. Auto Photo Fix II has been improved on the new printers, and the Easy-PhotoPrint EX software now lets you search and use images from Flickr.

First up are Canon's wireless all-in-ones. The PIXMA MG5220 has five individual ink tanks and features the ChromaLife100 + ink system. It also touts Full HD Movie Print, has a maximum color resolution of 9600 x 2400 dpi and can create a 4" x 6" borderless photo in about 20 seconds. It has a 2.4-inch TFT screen, a redesigned user interface, Auto Duplex printing and a two-way paper feed. The PIXMA MG5220 Wireless Photo AIO printer has an MSRP of $149.99.

The PIXMA MP495 Wireless Photo AIO printer is a more affordable option at $79.99. It also features five individual ink tanks, the ChromaLife100 + ink system and Full HD Movie Print. It has a maximum color resolution of 4800 x 1200 dpi and can create a 4" x 6" borderless photo in approximately 41 seconds. The printer also features an Auto Scan Mode that recognizes the type of the original, then scans and saves with the settings needed.

Canon's new PIXMA MG5120 and PIXMA MP280 Photo AIO printers print, copy and scan without costing you a bundle. Both new models feature the Full HD Movie Print function as well as the ChromaLife100 + ink system. The PIXMA MG5120 Photo AIO Printer has a maximum color resolution of 9600 x 2400 dpi and the PIXMA MP280 Photo AIO Printer offering a maximum color resolution of 4800 x 1200 dpi. The PIXMA MG5120 AIO Printer can produce a 4" x 6" borderless photo in about 39 seconds. It also features Auto Duplex printing and a two-way paper feed. The PIXMA MP280 AIO Printer can produce a 4" x 6" borderless photo in about 43 seconds. The PIXMA MG5120 AIO Printer has an MSRP of $129.99 and the PIXMA MP280 AIO Printer is priced at just $69.99.
