Media Decor Unveils Mirror TVs for the Bathroom
Media Décor is a company we have often praised for its designer solutions that conceal flat-screen TVs. But what about consumers who want a flat-screen television in a room other than the family room or home theater…like the bathroom? Yes, that's right! Media Décor just announced its new Aqua Vanity Series and Aqua Décor Series, which are designed for installation in bathrooms. The company also has a new online Webstore, making ordering easier than ever.
Available in the next few months, the Aqua Vanity Series and Aqua Décor Series are the first models to debut in the new mirror TV Series. Designed for installation in bathrooms, the Aqua Vanity Series and Aqua Décor Series are frameless glass mirrors that can be customized with eight different frame options to match a bathroom's décor. Each features a built-in, ultrathin, 19" flat-panel LED television to provide optimal TV viewing. Each TV features a built-in HDTV tuner, PC video input, USB port, HDMI input, a headphone output, two stereo speakers, and composite, component, and S-video inputs. The special coatings applied to the back of the glass are humidity-resistant.
The mirrors measure 30" x 36" and prices start at $995, depending on choice of frame: Brushed Edge German Silver, Satin Pewter, Brushed Satin Black, and Florentine Gold. There are also four options of wood frames: Honey Pecan, Natural, Dark Walnut, and White-washed.
The Aqua Vanity Series is the ideal cosmetic mirror, with a 19" LED TV built into the lower portion of the glass. This specially designed mirror features an enhanced metal coating applied to the back (except in the location for the TV) for bright reflectivity without tint or darkening. When the TV is off, a black square is visible where the LCD TV is located. When the TV is on, the flawless TV image is visible in this location.
The Aqua Décor Series is a decorative glass mirror with the same built-in capabilities as the Vanity Series, however when the TV is turned off, it magically disappears and it looks like a decorative glass mirror. The Décor Series has an additional reflective coating applied to the back of the surface of the glass that makes it slightly darker than the Vanity Series.
The company also announced another option for consumers who prefer to conceal surface-mounted flat-screen TVs with artwork. The value-priced ECCO Moving Art Series is designed for newer, thin-styled TVs whose depth, including the wall mount, doesn't exceed 2". The ECCO is easy to install and requires no special wiring. Inside the frame, a battery-operated motor (operated by remote control) scrolls the artwork up or down to reveal or conceal the TV. The thickness of the unit is 2.75" from the wall surface to the back of the picture frame, and the sides of the TV are concealed.
ECCO is offered in two fixed sizes on the Webstore; Custom sizes can be ordered directly through an authorized Media Décor dealer.
ECCO-Small will fit most 40"-46" TVs and is available online for $1,495. Allow 3 weeks for delivery. Exact Dimensions: 43.1" overall width, 28.5" overall height.
ECCO-Medium will fit most 50"-55" TVs and sells online for $1,795. Allow 3 weeks for delivery. Exact Dimensions: 50.5" overall width, 30.4" overall height.
Artwork is available in 39 choices, and frames are offered in Matte Black, Espresso, Rustic Walnut, or Rustic Pine.
Visit Media Décor's online store for additional information. The models are also available through authorized Media Décor dealers.
