New TripIt SmartSolution App for Lexmark Web-Connected Printers

There are apps for smartphones, apps for iPods, apps for iPads…and now, there is a new travel app for Lexmark's web-connected all-in-one printers. The new TripIt SmartSolution app lets you print your travel plans without even turning on your computer.

Once the TripIt SmartSolution app is installed on Lexmark's Platinum, Pinnacle, Prestige or Interact Web-connected printers, a "TripIt" icon is added to the touch-screen display on the printer. A list of upcoming trips are shown on the display, which you can then select and print.

To create a free TripIt account, simply forward your flight, hotel or additional travel confirmation emails to plans@tripit.com, no matter where you book your travel. TripIt automatically compiles this information and creates a master itinerary, complete with maps, directions, weather and whatever you need for your trip. Can it get any easier than that?
