Sonos Controller for iPad Unveiled

Sonos, a company known for the popular ZonePlayer S5 music system just unveiled the new Sonos Controller for iPad at an event today in New York. The Sonos Controller for iPad will work like the Sonos Controller for iPhone, allowing music lovers to control their music all over the home when used with Sonos ZonePlayers.

The Sonos Controller for iPad features:

• Landscape and portrait modes - No matter how you turn it, the iPad's large screen makes controlling your music easier than ever.
• Multi-pane view - See your music menu, what's playing in every room, and what's in your queue, complete with vivid album art—all at once.
• Fun and easy for everyone - Quickly search for your favorite artists by typing on the virtual keyboard and browse through albums by pointing and flicking. Then simply drag and drop to add to your queue.

The Sonos Controller for iPad will be available as a free download on the iTunes App Store beginning in late August 2010.
