3D TV a Fad? Try It Before You Decide.
A lot of people think that 3D TV is going to be a passing fad, but I would venture to guess that all of those people have never watched a movie at home in 3D. I've been in the process of putting together a home theater in my basement, and only recently decided to go for the 3D option. I already had the soundproofing done, sweet theater chairs (http://www.familyleisure.com/Home-Theater-Seats), and audio. All I needed was a TV. I recently purchased A Sony BRAVIA XBR-LX900 HDTV and downloaded the firmware to update my current Sony Blu-Ray player to be 3D capable. The set-up is amazing. Everyone should watch movies like this sometime.

The sony bravia 3D hdtv content material will mechanically turn the 3D on. The 3D button on the Remote will help you use a Simulated 3D on 2D programs.

Don't buy based reading the specs or reviews alone
This is one of the most amazing TVs. I still remember seeing the first commercial for it. One thing I suggest is to not buy based reading the specs or reviews alone. Go to a store and actually watch the TV. Insist that at a component (Y, Pr, Pb) or HDMI cable from an HD source be connected to the TV before you make a comparison.
