Sony Unveils Sony Internet TV

This week, Google unveiled Google TV, a platform integrating TV and the Internet. The Google TV service is based on the Android mobile operating system and will be available on several different TVs later this year. Sony is the first out of the box, launching "Sony Internet TV".

Consumers will be able to search and access content from their TVs and across the Internet - on their TVs. "Sony Internet TV" is scheduled to launch in the U.S. the Fall of 2010 with the lineup featuring both a standalone TV model and set top box-type unit incorporating a Blu-ray drive.
