LittleBigPlanet 2 Coming to the PS3 Later This Year

Sony announced this week that the sequel to LittleBigPlanet will be released later this year. LittleBigPlanet 2 will have a new collection of tools and rules for fans to Play, Create, and Share. Per the company's blog, this includes "an evolved approach to control and customization that has never been seen before."

Developed by Media Molecule, LittleBigPlanet 2 will also have a ton of new features, including revamped graphics, added accessories and equipment, as well as a new storyline. You will be able to compose your own music, wire controllers directly in to your contraptions, connect switches, circuit boards etc. to build vehicles, machines, and more.
