ViewSonic PGD-150 Active Stereographic 3D shutter glasses

3D technology is showing up everywhere. Not just in movie theaters, but also in the home theater. ViewSonic just announced the latest in its 3D journey, the PGD-150 Active Stereographic 3D shutter glasses.

Designed to work with ViewSonic's 3D ready projectors, these glasses offer a 50ft effective use distance, 1000:1 contrast and an active shutter glass design for blur-free 3D viewing. They have a water- and dust-proof design and run on lithium batteries for up to 70 hours of usage before replacement.

"From our 3D Ready projectors to desktop displays, ViewSonic has been among the first to offer solutions in this space. When paired with our DLP Link 120Hz / 3D Ready projectors, our new PGD-150 glasses provide users a truly immersive experience," said Erik Willey, director of projector product marketing for ViewSonic. "We are excited to help open new worlds of viewing possibilities and put 3D within reach for a wider sector of the population – whether for work, entertainment or learning."

The PGD-150 Active Stereographic 3D shutter glasses are compatible with the PJD5112, PJD5352, PJD6211, PJD6221, PJD6241, PJD6251, PJD6381, and PJD6531w ViewSonic projectors. They are available now for $99.
