Four New Casio EXILIM Digital Cameras

There were so many products introduced at the 2010 CES trade show earlier this month, we could write on them all year (and probably will!). Casio announced at the show four new EXILIM digital cameras, the High-Speed EXILIM EX-FH100, EXILIM EX-H15, EX-Z2000 and EX-Z550.

The High-Speed EXILIM EX-FH100 features Casio's high-speed burst shooting, 10.1 megapixels, a wide-angle 24 mm 10X optical zoom lens, and has a maximum burst rate of 40 shots per second for still images. It also enables up to 1,000 fps high-speed movie recording that captures motion that is ordinarily too fast for the human eye to see. The EX-FH100 has a mode dial for manual exposure burst shooting, as well as a mode that makes high-speed burst shooting easy, by choosing the optimal rate just by selecting the type of scene. Low-noise, high-quality photos can be taken even in dim indoor lighting thanks to the highly sensitive CMOS sensor. Price: $349.99.

The next three, the EXILIM EX-H15, EX-Z2000 and EX-Z550 all feature Casio's Dynamic Photo function that lets you edit and combine different moving images right on the camera.

EX-H15: The compact, 14.1 megapixel EX-H15 features a wide-angle 24 mm 10X optical zoom lens and a 3.0-inch LCD screen with a high resolution of approx. 460,000 pixels. The camera also has advanced standard features including CCD-shift image stabilization, long 1,000-shot battery life on a single full charge, and an HD Movie function. Price: $299.99.

EX-Z2000: This 14.1 megapixel model comes with a wide-angle 26 mm 5X optical zoom and a 3.0-inch LCD screen with a high resolution of approximately 460,000 pixels in a compact, thin body. The camera features CCD-shift image stabilization and HD Movie function, as well as a long-life battery, making it possible to take 580 shots on a single full charge. Price: $229.99.

EX-Z550: The EX-Z550 features a wide-angle 26 mm 4X optical zoom lens and a clear 2.7-inch LCD screen. A 14.1 megapixel model, it is equipped with CCD-shift image stabilization and records HD video at 720p. Price: $169.99.
