Google's Nexus One Android Phone is Official!

 Nexus One

It is now official! Google today unveiled the Nexus One Android phone by HTC. It features a 3.7-inch, 480 x 800 display, has 512MB of ROM, 512MB of RAM, a 4GB microSD card (expandable to 32GB), and a 5 megapixel camera with LED flash.

The phone is a T-Mobile device, but can be used with other carriers by inserting your own SIM card. You'll pay for it, of course. If you are a T-Mobile customer, you can get your hands on it for $179. Not with T-Mobile? It'll cost you $529. On Google's Nexus One website, it states that the device will be coming soon to Verizon Wireless, as well as offered in Europe using the Vodophone service.

Through Google's new web store (www.google.com/phone), you can purchase the Nexus One with or without service, or buy the phone with service from one of Google's operator partners. They will add new devices to the web store as they become available.
