ViewSonic Goes Green with New Energy Saving Monitors

ViewSonic just announced two new Energy Star 5.0 compliant monitors great for those of you who want to reduce energy bills, and really…who doesn't want to save a few bucks?

The new 19" ViewSonic VX1932wm-LED monitor uses 50% less power and has an energy consumption of just 15W! Both Energy Star 5.0 and TCO 5.0 compliant, the monitor features a mercury free WLED backlight that automatically controls backlight brightness for blacker blacks, pure whites and more clearly defined grays. It is now available for $169 MSRP.

Also announced today is the 17" ViewSonic VA705b. This new Energy Star 5.0 compliant LCD monitor features a power consumption of just 21W and has OnView menu controls for on-screen adjustments. The slim design lets it fit easily in small spaces too. The VA705b also includes an OSD power lock to secure screen settings and a Kensington security port to protect it from theft. It is now available for $149 MSRP.

With 250 nits brightness, the VA705b's 17" screen delivers crystal clear graphics and smooth, full motion video in brilliant color.
