Boston Acoustics Intros New Wireless-Ready Subwoofers
Do you want to add some bass to your home entertainment system without the hassle of running wires throughout your house? Boston Acoustics has the solution to this problem. Just announced are three new Classic Series wireless-ready subwoofers featuring built-in wireless receivers. They include the 8" 200-watt (350-watt Peak) CPS 8Wi, 10" 300-watt (650-watt Peak) CPS 10Wi and 12" 400-watt (850-watt Peak) CPS 12Wi.
Each subwoofer has front-firing, front ported design, meaning you can actually place the subwoofer in a cabinet. All three also feature volume control, a phase switch, speaker-level inputs, line level input and LFE input.
Joe Stinziano, Senior VP of Sales and Marketing for Boston Acoustics, noted: "Our new wireless-ready subwoofers are a convenient and affordable solution for enjoying truly superior bass response. Like all Boston Acoustics speakers, every component in these new models has been engineered to meet the highest performance standards. With the optional WT 50 wireless transmitter, which is available separately, you can hide the subwoofer anywhere in the room and still experience incredible bass."
All three are available in either a Black Walnut or Cherry vinyl finish and work with Boston Acoustics' new WT 50 Wireless Transmitter. The CPS 10Wi model is now available for $499.99, while the CPS 8Wi and CPS 12Wi are expected to be available later this month. The CPS 8Wi will sell for $399.99, and the CPS 12Wi has an MSRP of $599.99.
