HDMI v 7.1 analog DAC
I love this player. By far the best picture quality out there. I have a question for anyone who reads this. Which audio do you prefer....HDMI or 7.1 with the 8 Separate Wolfson audio DACS for each analog output.
I have tried both and am sticking with the 8 DAC's into my multi input sony ES receiver. The HDMI is great, but i found it to be too bright (too loud etc.). The analog setup makes me have to turn the volume up to get the proper gain, but it is more pure of a complete surround sound. The surround back speakers really perk up in this set up.
Anyone else have any thoughts?
A nice player
Because i have no one own player, i don't know the difference clearly. But as for what you said, i think i will be in your side!
