What makes the Aerial Atom worth this price tag? Well, simply put, this open-wheeled roadster will take on and take down the Bugatti Veyron. The 500hp, V8 equipped Aerial Atom will do 0-60 in 2.5 seconds. Also, at just 1,102 pounds, the Aerial Atom is roughly 1/4 the weight of the 4,160 pound Veyron.

The price tag is also inflated because of the special RS Performance 10,000 RPM engine that goes for about $48,000 and the six-speed sequential gearbox that runs about $17,000. Also, the Aerial Atom is equipped with Alcon brakes, Dymag wheels, and numerous carbon fiber aero-aids.

So, you definitely get your monies worth, in my opinion. Although, it's going to hurt if you crash this rocket.
