Memeo Share Gets Social

This week, Memeo released the new version of their photo-sharing software, Memeo Share.

Memeo Share is a unique photo-sharing product - it lets your digital photos and videos go directly to the desktops of your friends and family. To do this, simply create a Sharing Circle (group of people) to send the photos to. The photos and videos are then sent directly to their desktops! The recipients just open the folder on their desktops and are able to view, comment and rate the photos/videos you sent them.

• Backup your photos and videos and retrieve them if your hard drive crashes
• Distribute your photos and videos to multiple platforms and mobile devices
• A new social activity dashboard that provides a live feed of Sharing Circle member activity, letting you know who has uploaded new content and what pictures and videos are being commented on

Memeo Share v2.0 is compatible with Windows 2000, XP and Vista and is available now in free 'Standard' and paid 'Premium' versions. The Standard version allows you to share up to 1GB of photos and videos, and the Premium version gives you unlimited use for $4.95 a month. Memeo Share also has a Mac and iPhone version of the product.
