Students: Buy a Mac, Get a Free iPod touch!
Apple just announced a special deal for students – buy a MacBook, MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, or iMac and get a free iPod touch! To qualify for this offer you have to be a student or employee of any K-12 or higher-education institution. Parents are also eligible for the program.
This is how it works: to get the free iPod touch you have to buy the iPod touch at the same time as the Mac. Then, after the purchase, fill out the rebate form online and wait to get your money. The good thing is, once your claim has been submitted, you can check the rebate status online. The bad thing is, these days many people don't have an extra $229 lying around (I know I don't!). But if you do, this is an excellent deal from Apple!
This offer is available only at the Apple Online Store, Apple Retail Stores, and Apple Authorized Campus Stores and ends September 8, 2009. Rebates must be submitted by October 9, 2009. Get full details at Apple's website.
