Buy One LG Xenon, Get One Free

 LG Xenon

AT&T just announced a buy one, get one free offer (after mail-in rebate, of course) for the new LG Xenon touch screen phone. The LG Xenon is available only through AT&T, and includes features such as a 3 megapixel camera, side-sliding full keyboard, instant messaging, mobile e-mail and AT&T Navigator.

With the purchase of a new LG Xenon, AT&T is also giving customers a 30 day free trial of AT&T Navigator. AT&T Navigator gives you audible and visual turn-by-turn driving directions with full-color maps. After the trial period, AT&T Navigator is available with a monthly subscription charge of $9.99 for unlimited routes or a $2.99 Day Pass option is available.

The final cost for two LG Xenon phones is $99.99 with two-year service agreement. (Pay $149.99 for each phone, and after mail-in rebate, receive $50 AT&T Promotion Card for the first phone and a $149.99 card for the second.) Visit www.wireless.att.com for more info.

not sure what a great deal this is....

First of all, there are NO details about this deal anywhere on the attwireless website at all, anywhere, nowhere, nothing. Not one darn detail.

Secondly, I went into an ATT store yesterday, and the fine print on the deal is extensive to say the least. The store I went to characterized this deal as a "manager's special," which seemed to be counter to all of the national commercials I have seen for this deal, but that is another argument.

I am already an ATT customer, as is my wife. We have a "family plan." I wanted to get 2 of these Xenons for us, and that is where the "fine print" came into play. My phone is eligible for an upgrade, but my wife's is not eligible until next February. This disqualified us from the deal. The salesman asked if I wanted to open a new phone line so I could qualify....

So, if you have 2 phones eligible for upgrade, or if you are going to get 2 new lines, and you are wearing the hat with the moon and the stars on it, and jump through whatever other hoops they have set up, then I suppose you can get two Xenons for $99. The rest of us regular people are disappointed.

Thank you for making everyone

Thank you for making everyone aware of the fine print. This is still a good deal for those that don't already have the AT&T service...however, I do agree with you about those who are already under contract...it is unfortunate. But, one thing to consider is companies often make deals like this available to generate new business. Buy One Get One Free Deal

I think this is a lot of crap! I also have the family plan and the other phone on my plan qualifies for upgrade 1 month after mine. What a load of crap! I would have thought that AT & T would be loyal to their loyal subscribers. Oh well....

It's no deal at all.... You

It's no deal at all.... You can upgrade to a Xenon at Best Buy or Walmart for $50 - no rebates, no fine print, no 2 phone line requirement.

$149.99 for each phone its not to cheep

I was interested in this till

I was interested in this till I seen the mail in rebate... which is a joke. I have been with att for 8 years and EVERY SINGLE TIME I upgrade my phone I get the mail in rebate which you are supposed to get in 6-9 weeks, ya never received one. period. Call att and they give you the run around, say they will mail another out and it will take another 6-9 weeks. After doing this 7-8 different times I just write-off they're little ''Rebate''. Cuz it ain't gonna happen. I think they just expect most people to forget about it after 6 weeks. This is really my only complaint about att. So just beware of that little "Rebate".

How at Best Buy or Walmart

I want this phone so how do I do it? Can you get the 2nd phone free? Or What???

Here is the information,

Here is the information, taken from AT&T's website:

Available in AT&T stores and online at www.wireless.att.com in blue or red, AT&T customers can get two of the new touch screen 3G quick messaging phone for $99.99 after mail-in rebate with a two-year service agreement on each phone. (Pay $149.99 for each phone, and after mail-in rebate, receive $50 AT&T Promotion Card for the first phone and a $149.99 card for the second.)

The offer expires on June 21, 2009.

REbates are gift cards with very short expiration dates!

We purchased 4 phones and waited 3 months for the AT&T rebate. We received gift cards that looked like credit cards. The cards could only be used for purchases that were the amount of card or less, and could not be used for partial payments of more expensive items. So I ended up with cards that had odd partial amounts remaining that were too complicated to use. Then, on top of that the cards expired 2 months after I received them! I HATE AT&T REBATE CARDS!!!

good phone is lg xenon

I have only had this phone for 2 days but so far I am LOVING IT! I couldn't decide if I wanted to go with this one or go with the Samsung Impression. I am really glad I picked this one especially for how much cheaper it is.

One thing that I want to point out about this touch screen is that unlike the iPhone (which I had), you can use a stylus pen or any other pointed pen/pencil with it. Sometimes when I am on the browser my fingers are too big to click on a small link, this is where a stylus can be handy!

Came across http://www.LG-Xenon.com it's a very user friendly place for us the LG Xenon owners.

i am so disgusted. i actually work for the company and am venting here cos i cannot be traced. cust called in to take advatage of this so called offer. its no reall offer once you factor in the EACH phone must be activated on a new two year aggreement. all i can say is this: dont do it. you arte better off getting ONE fone with a real discount and just one commitment, than this fine print shinanigans. wow i am so disappointmed. now dont get me wrong this is not an AT&T customer service issue this is a marketing issue, and im done venting, let me get back to my calls.

yea well

i really dnt need 2 fones i mean its a good deal i gues but wat if you only want 1 does the price go up or does it stay the same with a mail in rebate?

Re: Buy One LG Xenon, Get One Free

As per my opinion, it’s not possible. It is possible that you get some discount on it but buy 1 and get 1 free, it is some doubtful case. I know a site www.prepaymania.co.uk is celebrating one million orders and these codes help you get some good discounts on your purchases. PAYGC10 gives you a £10 discount on pay as you go deal purchases of over £50. SFC10 gives you a £10 on sim free mobile phones over £50. and ACC10 gives you full ten percent discount on all accessories purchased for over £4.99! hope it helps!
