SendPhotos: Free Mobile and PC Photo Sharing Software

If you have a cell phone (and who doesn't these days?), then chances are you take photos with your phone. Avanquest Software has announced SendPhotos - a new interactive photo sharing solution that allows you to share and exchange photos for free from your PC or mobile device.

Avanquest SendPhotos currently supports more than 140 mobile phones including the T-Mobile G-1, iPhone and the Blackberry Bold and Pearl handsets. Currently in beta, membership to SendPhotos includes a free mobile phone client, free PC client, and free online access with 1GB of online storage space.

SendPhotos Mobile -- The SendPhotos mobile client is installed directly to your phone and automates the upload of snapshots to www.SendPhotos.com for backup and frees up your mobile device memory in the process. The SendPhotos iPhone version even includes a photo editor so you can crop, color and add text to images right on your phone.

SendPhotos PC – The PC software lets you upload, download, sync, edit and organize your photos either online or offline at SendPhotos.com. Editing features include cropping, redeye reduction and color and contrast correction tools. You have the choice of making your photos viewable to just the people you select, or the entire world. Authorized friends and family can even download high-definition images in original size and comment or "share back" their own images. With SendPhotos your photos can be optimized for fast download so that users without broadband internet access can obtain the images quickly.

SendPhotos Web is your private online cache for uploading, archiving, synchronization and sharing your pictures. www.SendPhotos.com allows access only to family and friends that you have authorized, without search-engine pickup on the Internet. Want to share your photos to MySpace, Picasa or many other social network sites? A simple drag-and-drop will do the trick.

Avanquest SendPhotos is currently available as a free download in English, French, Spanish, Italian and German editions.
