Eight New COOLPIX from Nikon

The new COOLPIX “S” series compact digital cameras from Nikon are the Style Series or “S” series: S230, S220, S630 and S620.

The COOLPIX S220 has a slim body design of just 18mm and a 2.5-inch LCD screen. It has Scene Auto Selector, 3x Optical Zoom, Smart Portrait System with 10 megapixels. Blink Proof System, Quick Retouch, 4-way VR Image Stabilization and is available in six color schemes (Plum, Graphite Black, Cobalt Blue, Aqua Green, Warm Silver and Magenta). MSRP of $149

The COOLPIX S230 has the touch screen design on a 3-inch high-resolution display sporting a 3x Optical Zoom with One-touch focus and zoom. There are Write and Draw functions with 10 megapixels that generate quality photos. This little gem has Scene Auto Selector, Quick Retouch, Smart Portrait with Blink Proof technology. 4-way Image Stabilization, ISO 2000 capability and is available in five body colors (Plum, Jet Black, Night Blue, Gloss Red and Warm Silver). The COOLPIX S620 has the most megapixels in the S-series with 12.2 megapixels. The 4x-wide Optical Zoom has an incredibly fast start-up time of 0.7 seconds. The Subject Tracking, Scene Auto Selector, Quick Retouch, Blink Proof, Motion Detection, 4-way VR Image Stabilization will make your friends think you are a pro photographer. The COOLPIX S630 pocket-size camera has 12 megapixels and a 7x Optical Zoom lens. This little camera sports a 2.7-inch LCD and has Continuous Mode for shooting up to 11 frames-per-second (fps). Scene Auto Selector, Quick Retouch and Blink Proof technologies will ensure you have great photos most of the time. 4-way VR Image Stabilization, ISO 6400 capability and there are five colors for this gem (Jet Black, Royal Purple, Midnight Blue, Ruby Red and Titanium Silver). The “Pro-sumer” (consumer who has professional aspirations) will enjoy the versatility and simplicity of the feature rich COOLPIX P90. The COOLPIX P90 features a 24x Optical Zoom that is like a super telephoto [26-624mm], a 3-inch variable angle LCD monitor with Tilt function and Anti-reflection coating with 15 fps. This camera also has the 4-way VR Image Stabilization System, and 6400 ISO capability. The electronic viewfinder, Auto Scene Selector, Quick Retouch and Distortion Control is what makes you look like a professional. This camera has an MSRP of $399 and can be found in stores March 2009.

Nikon’s Life series combines quality, high performance and ease of operation into one package. The COOLPIX L100 is the entry level into the Life series. The L100 has a 10 megapixel, 3-inch LCD with Anti-reflection coating, Scene Auto Selector, 15x Optical Zoom covering wide angle [28-420mm] with Continuous Sport Mode that can take pictures up to 30 consecutive frames at 13fps. The 4-way VR Image Stabilization System and Smart Portrait System will make you look good as you charge your family members for sharing your photos because they are so good. The MSRP of the L100 is $279.

The COOLPIX L19 is an 8-megapixel camera that has a large 2.7-inch LCD, 3.6x Optical Zoom and easy Auto Mode to make it really simple to use. The Scene Auto Selector, Smart Portrait and Motion Detection brings the best technology to the masses in this well priced point and shoot. There are five color options for special effects and this little camera is powered by two (2) AA batteries. It is available in bright silver. The MSRP is $109

The COOLPIX L20 is a 10 megapixel camera with a large high-res LCD 3.6x Optical Zoom, easy Auto Mode with Scene Auto Selector, Smart Portrait System and Motion Detection. This camera has five color options for special effects and is powered by two (2) AA batteries that power it all. This camera is available in deep red with an MSRP of $129.
