Sony Debuts Bluetooth Sports Headphones, Earbuds, and Updated Noise Canceling Headphones

Sony MDR-NC7 headphones Sony unveils three new headphones for the holiday season.

Starting off with their new noise canceling headphones (model MDR-NC7). These are an updated version of their most popular noise canceling headphones, the MDR-NC6. The MDR-NC7 has improved noise-reduction to reduce approximately 87.4 percent of ambient noise. It includes a carrying pouch and in-flight adapter at about $50.

Sony MDR-EX36V earbuds Next up are the colorful metallic EX Style earbuds (model MDR-EX36V). For comfort and fit, the silicone earbuds come in three sizes. The adjustable 3.9 ft cord comes with an in-line volume control and a much appreciated L shaped mini plug to stay out of the way. The price of the MDR-EX36V is about $30.

Sony DR-BT160AS Bluetooth sports headphones The water-resistant stereo bluetooth sports headphones (model DR-BT160AS) are built for those who do sports or anything else active while listening. They allow you to answer the phone and use the built-in microphone in addition to listening to your favorite tunes wirelessly via A2DP Bluetooth Stereo. The built-in rechargeable Li-ion batteries provide 7 hrs continuous listening or 100 hours on standby. Eyeglass wearers should check the fit before purchase as these behind-the-neck headphones distribute the weight behind the ears and may interfere with eyeglasses. The DR-BT160AS are available at approximately $130.

I've been using the MDR-NC6

I've been using the MDR-NC6 in the office now for about three months, and they work well. I'm really happy with this line of headphones.
