Best Buy has announced that beginning Friday, November 27 they are offering a value-priced HP laptop for $197. Available in-store only, the HP laptop features an Intel Celeron 900 processor, 2GB memory and a 160GB hard drive.

This is the second value-priced laptop Best Buy has made available to consumers. Earlier this month, they had a $249.99 Acer laptop.

In addition to the HP $197 laptop, the company will have Best Buy-Dell Limited Edition Exclusive Netbooks, which are individually numbered and designed by world renowned artists.

Throughout the holiday season, six months of anti-virus protection will be free with the purchase of any laptop/desktop/netbook from Best Buy, and one year of Napster will be included free with any Dell computer purchase.

Verizon Wireless announced Black Friday deals for this holiday weekend, one of them being the Gateway LT Netbook for just $29.99 (with 2-year agreement, after $100 mail-in rebate debit card). Weighing less than three pounds, the Gateway LT Netbook features a 10.1-inch screen, 160 GB RAM and Wi-Fi connectivity.

Samsung just announced special values on five of their HDTV models from now until November 30th.

Best Buy just announced that they are now offering Black Friday pricing on several models of flat panel televisions as well as home theater products. The company also lowered the price of entry level Dynex LCD HDTVs – the 32-inch Dynex LCD HDTV is now $299.99 and the 40-inch Dynex 1080p is $499.99.

Black Friday pricing will be available on several Samsung models, including a 32-inch 720p LCD HDTV for $397.99, as well as a 50-inch plasma 720p HDTV for $697.99 starting Sunday, November 22, 2009.

To help kick off the Holiday shopping season, Walmart just announced that they will be offering special Black Friday-type deals for one day only -- November 8th.

Included in these deals is a 2GB Sony Walkman MP3 player for $49, a $100 Walmart Gift Card with the purchase of a $399 Sony PlayStation 3, and select video games (including Warhawk, Resistance and MotorStorm) for $19.82.  But what really stood out is a Compaq CQ-139WM 15.4" laptop with 2GB RAM and 160GB hard drive for only $298.
