With an 80” screen, Samsung’s HPR8072 Widescreen Plasma HDTV is the world's largest consumer television. The TV also features the best resolution available on the market (1920 x 1080) and progressive scanning for smooth video playback. The set offers the highest level of HDTV support, with high brightness (1500cd/m2), a high contrast ratio (5000:1) and 12-bit processing combining to provide 68.7 billion displayable colors. The HPR8072 also includes Samsung's latest DNIe (Digital Natural Image engine) chip for improved image quality, and the Samsung patented Anynet home networking chip, for performance and convenience.
